El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, declaró que sus comentarios sobre 4 congresistas demócratas no fueron en tono “racista”, sugiriendo que estas legisladoras volvieran a sus países de origen.
En su cuenta de Twitter, el mandatario estadounidense declaró: “Estos tuits no eran racistas. No tengo ni un hueso racista en mi cuerpo”.
Las legisladoras involucradas son Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, representante de Nueva York de origen portorriqueño; Ilhan Omar, estadounidense nacida en Somalia; Ayanna Pressley, legisladora negra representando a Massachusetts y Rashida Tlaib, representante de Michigan con ascendencia palestina.
